India has banned wheat exports
As you can see from the capture below, despite being the worlds second largest producer, India only exports one percent of total global exports. That looks like it won’t cause a problem but that is not the case if their wheat crop failed so badly they need to take action. They will probably need to import wheat rather than be self sufficient, which will apply more stress if disasters happen elsewhere.

Oh no! Last I read, they were exporting to what they considered esp. hard hit countries, mostly in africa. How sad. Thanks for updating this @ColonelZ
