Excellent example of appeal to authority and the strong arm of the government, oh and the sing song of patriotism.
My Grandmother told me stories of going down to the gold deposit place back in the 30’s to drop off all of her 24carrot gold jewelry. After, giving them the gold she felt a since of pride for helping out her country. That’s how strong the propaganda was before the internet.
