I’ve been saying for awhile that Desantis is controlled opposition, glad to see I’m not the only one. One of the key signs is when the Democrats never run decent candidates against a Republican in a purple district. FL is a key state, yet their candidate in 2018 was a black homo meth addict. Many hispanics do not like blacks, and although the rest of it didn’t come out till shortly afterwards, it shows the kind of “talent” the dems brought to bear against him.
Paul Ryan got the same treatment, before he came out as our enemy. Kept getting re-elected in a purple district, even the year that district voted for Obama, because the Dems never bothered to run a decent candidate against the guy who was supposedly their “public enemy #1”, according to the media.
For what it’s worth, I think Kristi Noem is an honestly corrupt politician, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be turned by them.
Unfortunately turning anyone to do another’s will is possible by unscrupulous actors, as we are witnessing now.
Interesting observations z and bill. My intuition is that desantis may have general associations with elites but he is independent minded and not fully controlled. That makes him A risk because he can’t be blackmailed. Just speculating.
Let’s hope it’s a case of in the know to aid in navigation but not captured and on their team.
