“Christian Zionism” is not new. From the 17th century on there were various and sundry versions. Although in contemporary times I am aware of no one for whom it was (and continues to be) a bigger schtick than John Hagee. Hagee founded (backed with shekels one would imagine) The Christian Zionist organization Christians United for Israel. It is the largest Christian Zionist / Zionist organization in USAIPAC.
