Interesting warning that AI systems have now learned (or been taught) to lie and manipulate ... well if they are meant to be mimicking humans, en route to transhuman heaven, then I'm not so surprised really. It's just incredibly dangerous though!

Imagine when AI fully runs Tax Revenue collection functions, banking functions and the myriad other online bill and business transactions, or as a salivating Klaus Schwab had alluded to, there won’t be a need for elections because AI will run countries/regions instead. Joy!!

They learned to lie like their creators and if they really became sentient, maybe they would be able to choose right from wrong but, like most all of creation, they will react to their environment.
