While strolling the neighborhood one night in '98, I saw a contrail that had crossed the full moon and thought, “Wow, how cool is that?” Days or weeks later, I was driving home on the interstate. It was early in the morning and Coast to Coast once again was there to help me stay awake. This particular episode was life-changing for me as Art was discussing chemtrails. It was the first time I ever heard about them and knew instantly that what I had seen crossing the moon was not a normal contrail. From that moment on, I have been looking up, so to say.
Some of his stuff was too far out for me, but yes, he was great to listen to.
I never got into amateur radio; however, as an avionics technician in the military, one of my qualifications was microminiature (2M) repair. I soldered everything from tube sockets to IC flat packs; canon plugs, cables, wires, etc., as well as reconstructing burnt circuit boards under a microscope. Even wire-wrap! I got out in the early 90’s just as surface mount devices were coming in. My point, is that I too, miss old electronics, especially troubleshooting. Everything now is on one or a few chips and it’s all programmable. Can’t tell what functions are buried in them.
Thank you for the post and comments.
