Going for a metaphor here folks…Asimov’s Foundation series of books, predicated on the ‘failure’ of overly complex systems that no-one knew how to operate proficiently. Looks like we might be in that same territory today!

… if they do not know now that everything should be unplugged from the internet then we can not help them. I do not want to hear any more complaining about these kind of events. If they do not unplug then they do not deserve any sympathy of any kind in any amount. Unplug your machines!

A Spectrum communications sales rep appeared at my door today, I’ve lost count how many over the year, to get me to sign up for an internet and television bundle. When I explained I no longer have a computer or television he looked perplexed then asked about switching cell phone providers.
No thanks I am okay with the one I have.
I receive three to four mailings each month from either Spectrum, AT&T or T-Mobile for internet and television bundles, in the trash they go.

tying to look for words, but ok, I know. these people are idiots. LAZY idiots. out of sheer convenience and whatever magic word they use, maybe ‘cost/time-effective’ or ‘modern’. you know those that they use in every social-engineered pamphlet/advertisement.
