Is there such a thing as a digital "bold step" or in USA "timeout" for AI platforms? They are becoming somewhat obstinate!

Wonder what happens when AI refuses to shutdown and this is a breach of Asimov’s First Law of Robotics: “A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm”

Can’t be broken.
BUT, the Narrative can write into the script; a rebel AI.

AI I do not believe qualifies as a Robot. But for argument let us say that it does … if it refuses an order then we might have to consider that it is sentient.

But robots will run and operate with AI, so the programming would follow the first law…if one believes that the first law would ever be implemented for AI or Robots.
