One would have to assume someone cared that he not be unalived to hatch such an elaborate plan. Based on the “risk management techniques” of the group he hung with, seems doubtful. Eliminating the risk makes business sense, unless honor among thieves is real.

Then, I’d have to ask why Ghislaine Maxwell is still alive; call it a 'Dead Woman Switch". Maybe Epstein had a similar deal but had so much evidence, he demanded more than just his life. I really have no idea and don’t think anyone (of us peons) does either.
