Let’s talk about Shariah Law. So, what is Shariah? It is essentially the law of Islam. Where does this Islamic law come from? It serves as the foundation for the religious, political, and cultural life of Muslims, and it is fundamentally based on three sources.
The first is the Quran, the sacred book of Islam — what we might call the Bible of the faith. The second is the Sunnah, which consists of accounts of Muhammad’s life and his sayings. The third is the hadiths, which are the recorded sayings, customs, and statements of Muhammad.
Everything in Islamic doctrine comes from a single source. All of Islamic law and the Muslim religion trace back to Muhammad. This stands in contrast, for example, to the Bible, which is a collection of writings by dozens of authors over some 1,400 years. In Islam, things are like the Acme Corporation — everything is Muhammad.
Many people think that Shariah law applies only to Muslims, and that is not correct. That is the problem with Shariah. Muslims understand that they have a commission from Muhammad — obviously from Allah; Allah is God and Muhammad is his prophet — to convert the entire world, everyone on the planet, to Islam. Islam, through Shariah, includes a collection of laws that apply to non-Muslims as well. That is a detail most people don’t know, because in Christianity, the Gospel seeks to convert the world but does not give commandments to non-believers. The commandments are for believers.
There is a little book I want to recommend to people. It is called Shariah Law for Non-Muslims . The title really caught my attention, and the author’s name is Bill Warner. This man is a physicist and mathematician, and I wondered, what is this man doing writing about this? He is an expert on the subject of Islam, but in reality, he is a physicist and mathematician.
What this man did was take Shariah and break it down to make a mathematical computation of the commandments found in Shariah, separating them by category. In that study, he counts and mentions that 37% of the texts in the Hadiths are dedicated to the Kafirs — the Kafirs are the infidels, the non-Muslims, which is us. In the Surah — pay attention — 81% is dedicated to the infidels. In the Quran, 64%. The trilogy itself contains 51% of topics, commandments, and instructions for non-Muslims, and 49% is for Muslims.
You may ask, what does Islam command regarding an infidel? What is commanded regarding the infidel has to do with the taxes imposed on them, the restrictions they face within the culture, their status as servants, and the command that they be killed. Most of the information contained in this trilogy is directed at what Islam is supposed to do toward non-Muslims.
In Christianity, the focus is on people believing, and those who don’t — well, God will deal with them. Not so with Islam. In other words, the problem with Shariah is that it not only seeks to impose laws on those who believe in Islam, but also on those who are not Muslims. And this is very important. That is why, when Muslims arrive in countries that are not Islamic, they carry this mission to impose by force the law that Muhammad imposes on infidels.

Well… enter San Juan, Puerto Rico. In general, the people of the island are tolerant of differences in customs and beliefs. Outside the Western context, they are not, because they feel threatened. My concern is that San Juan can’t handle this type of diversity. This is not a Masonic Lodge where all religions are equal and we bow down to the great architect. Doesn’t work that way around here. During this past weekend, four Muslims were shot; they entered a public housing complex to hand out Qurans, and they were wounded there. People there are not going to assimilate Islam.
On this island, people in the criminal world have a code of conduct. 1) No elders. 2) No children. 3) No women are allowed to be harmed. In other words, our criminals view the IDF soldier as an uncivilized barbarian. If a person goes to prison and the people there find out that you harmed women, the elderly, and children, that person is not going to make it out of prison alive. Also the Catholic and Evangelical priest is off limits. In the 500 years of recorded history you won’t find one incident of a priest or pastor getting hurt. Apparently people are not going to eat the Islamic cake.
