Never head of this university and I’ve lived in Texas since 1998 so looked to see what Wickedpedia’s entry said about them… very interesting that the founders’ idea was the Ivy League universities can not be salvaged.
What comes to mind is the founding of Stanford and the University of Chicago by rich philanthropists with their impact on civilization.
Hope the University of Austin really does open up “both sides of the clouds” again and resists being captured.
Her religious circle is quite telling about the belief in ideas and what can result.
Thanks for posting.
… UT was “captured” a long time ago.
I suppose the founders were captive long ago. Essentially we seem to be engaged in an intellectual propaganda war based in “education”. Yes, those who control ideas control minds.
The funeral industry is a big business, death is highly regulated and has ancient rituals, best not to mess with them. Normally religions are only used to conduct services, consul the aggrieved parties and display the body prior to service that’s it…touching the body is not allowed, only court appointed individuals.
… we need not worry our pretty little heads. I stand by my New Year’s Predictions. Nothing will happen, no one will be prosecuted, no one will go to jail, none of the money laundered by this “Islamic Center” or any other will ever be tracked or seized. Nothing will happen to anyone. But it is a nice little headline … Whew, look our Gov’nor is doing something about these things. Yee Freaken Haw! Y’all! … totally for show.
And they’ve been looking for violations since March, yet none to be found? The articles don’t even specify what they “allegedly” did and why it’s against the law…five months of billable attorney’s fees?
… BINGO! … these characters are so the post meets minimum length in order to be posted.
I saw this earlier today. Gad Saad has been sounding the alarm on this for years, and then my friends from Iran that immigrated here when they were children also warn about the steady concessions Islam continues to gain by linguistically using our own laws and naivety against us. We must fight back at every turn, giving up no concessions. Fight back with language, law, and legal force when necessary.
… although, as I’ve said before, I loathe Dr. Phil he does however have one good line. … “And how’s that (… fighting back at every turn, giving no concessions. … with language, law, and legal force when necessary.) been working for ya?” Sounding the alarm for how long? Years you say.
Your own words show that at this point that type of thinking and the non-action that accompanies it is NOT an option.
