God forbid, but this looks like it will escalate into …well maybe not a nuclear war, but certainly an unconventional war…
…using for example weapons that melt everything, concrete, stone…etc
But I may be wrong…
Only God knows.
They should consider precedent, and whether they are willing to see the same in Ukraine (and further if escalated).

What will happen in the last times
"The elder Lavrenty often grieved and cried: “The abyss is full of human souls… And the abyss will be transferred to the earth.”

Very few people will remain and then they will start shouting: “Down with the war!” And “We want a king!”
“There will be a war,” continued Batyushka (the elder), “and where it passes, there will be no more people.”
And before that, the Lord will send small illnesses to weak people and they will leave.
And the Third World War will no longer be for repentance, but for extermination.
The sister replied: “It is good that there will be a war, because then people will be counted among the martyrs.”
And Father Lavrenty replied: “No, if they are believers and suffer in blood, they will be counted among the martyrs, but if they are not believers, they will go to hell.”
The sister asked: “So, can one also perish?” And the father replied: "The Lord will take the weak to Himself, and the others will be cleansed through illness.
There will be those who will wash away the sins of the war with their own blood and will be counted among the martyrs.
And the strongest will be left by the Lord to meet Him.
And until the number of God’s witnesses, broken by the fall of some of the angels, is filled with those who are saved, the Lord will not come to judge.
Christians will not be able to buy or sell anything. But do not grieve: the Lord will not abandon His own … Do not be afraid!
