Wow… sniffing around on youtube I find this old 1973 recording of Jane Parker-Smith (one of the true virtuosos of the organ) playing the Finale of the 8th Organ Symphony by le grande Maitre, Widor… wow what a performance (Parker-Smith never disappointed. Sadly she died in 2020).

For some fun, here’s Yves Castagnet performing the quirky little scherzo from that symphony on Widor’s own organ at St. Sulpice de Paris… I think I’ve posted this before…
