So, university presidents being dragged before congress to answer questions relative to their stance on Israel and antisemitism, this is kind of extraordinary, no ? I’ve always tried to approach the subject with prudence but this is getting overt and in your face. What do you folks think is going on ?

One aspect of this that grabs my attention is the media, in concert, reporting on a sudden wave of antisemitism while also reporting on stuff that could lead to actually antisemitic feelings. It all seems manufactured.

That is because it IS manufactured.
While driving sheep around the countryside yesterday, I was listening to “Patriot” radio on Sirius and shouting out loud at the twisted reporting on the subject of Hamas, Iran (Hezbollah) and Israel. The initial report of the 30 beheaded babies turned out to be propaganda intended to stir hatred and, so, we have NO IDEA about who is torturing whom in this ancient battle. I am sorry to those who blindly support Israel, but they have sworn to take out everyone not in their genetic circle and that includes me. Bombing a population of people, primarily women and children in a walled enclosure, does NOT make me support Hamas, but it sure as BLEEP doesn’t make me support Israel.
The fact that the corporation, aka UNITED STATES, is against a UN demanded pause in the fighting, reinforces my separation from this mass of psychopaths.

Sometimes I read a headline and I think “No way” and other times “Yea, I can see it”. This is the latter for certain. It would explain a lot to be honest.

So far ive gotten very mixed reactions, but its obvious that its the next play.

We now have certifiable Leftists (Zakaria) calling for university reform and free speech. Is it possible the ‘dialectic’ has been broken? Has the left and right hands of our tormentors led them into their own trap?
Jews are persecuted throughout their history due to many commonalities in their behavior civilization to civilization. You’re correct, they are the scapegoat, but that is so due to the fact that they’re very easy to dislike as a group: vulgarity, pornography, use of alcohol during contract arrangement, and human sacrificial practice among the commonalities. Essentially, they’re the chosen vessel, though not the only vessel, for the transmission of bad behavior since the foot of the cross.

Although I agree with your premise, in general, there’s more to it that’s not being accounted for and it’s simpler than most think. Skip the religious aspects for now.
Bottom line: The Jews have refused to assimilate into any and all other cultures since Judaism came to be. Due to this, Jews were targeted because of what was viewed as ‘secrecy’. Jews studied other cultures, found vulnerabilities and exploited them, perhaps in order to protect themselves, which has angered every outside group culture they’ve ever found to be living around. Jews, throughout their history, were and are very big on education, most likely for this reason, studying the laws and finance of the peoples around them. Although Jews gained control using their education, strategies and the tactics developed, on the other side of the coin, since they had no ‘friends’ in cultures outside of their own, nobody was going to rush in to defend them when they were threatened as a group. Jews make alliances (business) outside of their own culture but, they do not make friends. Big difference. The Jews are and have been easy ‘bus fodder’ since their inception.
It’s very much like the nerdy kid at school who does not belong to groups outside of his own very small, nerdy group. The nerd who has his face in a book, is very successful in his or her studies and makes no friends at school, except other nerds. The nerdy kid(s) is picked on and bullied relentlessly but nobody comes to the rescue because the kid has built no relationships outside of his immediate circle, in which all are just like the kid. This is not to say that Jews are innocent of device.
My non-Jewish parents bought a home right after I was born, smack dab in the middle of a heavily Jewish neighborhood because of the Education factor. Though it was a public school system, we’re talking late 1950’s to 1960’s, when schools were ruled by the population surrounding the area. To give you an idea, Jews and all of us schooled with them were reading fairly decently at 3 years of age. By measure in todays system, this blasts others out of the water.
Just another angle to be considered…
