@ColonelZ Thank you for this post. I highly recommend all here to read the full transcript. Many climate change articles on mainstream news feeds parrot this narrative.
“THEY” according to Kerry:
Yes that about sums up climate change, in his own words. “seducing people into buying
into a completely fictitious alternative reality”…
Hiding behind the Enlightenment scientists to replace the fading and eroding power of religion as a the world’s social manipulator is the new business model.
It’s just business, don’t get your dander up…after all “they” are “stakeholders” too, except “they” don’t own enough stock shares to matter to the major stakeholders.
This explains why Kerry is not asking for ‘‘green bombs’’ neither in the Ukraine nor Gaza.
@Bill10558 They’re just replacing the traditional religions with new ones: Climatism and Scientism. Or they’re trying to.
@sharick The hubris and hypocrisy of these billionaire know-it-all’s are truly galling . . .
Again, Kerry is not asking for ‘‘green bombs’’ as if this war is eco friendly! Zero credibility for Kerry even for the ‘‘greens.’’
@Horizon03 It would be eco friendly to a Malthusian since it’s reducing the human population.
“Sacrificed”. There speaks a true Satanist.
… now hold on a minute. He could be on to something here. The Committee for Public Safety makes the following proposal which WE believe will be found acceptable to many of US. Yes, this process should begin immediately with but one utilitarian caveat. The caveat is that after each “sacrifice” an assessment should be taken as to whether or not the current “sacrifice” has brought about an increase in group happiness (and we should, like Epicurus, Bentham and Mill before us, be hedonists about value). You know “the greatest amount of good for the greatest number” and all of that … And one should keep in mind that the taking of the “assessment” is in keeping with the finest of traditions. Immediately after the “sacrifice” the head was held up and met with either cheers or groans of one sort of another.
The Committee for Public Safety has drawn up a list of names with which to begin this Noble Process (yes, we must call it “The Noble Process” or something similar … in the afterglow of our most recent unpleasantness one must be upbeat, the process should have a moniker with a little pep, you know something with a nice ring-a-ding-ding to it. Well now, yes, back to the list … The Committee’s List begins with ALL, no matter how distant relations, of those among us who produce condiments (either ketchup or catsup, relish et cetera, et cetera) on a global scale. As stated earlier an assessment of perceived goodness and happiness amongst the people will then be taken. The Committee anticipates that the assessment will find Mudville experiencing a great deal of Joy.
The Noble Process will continue similarly with those who …well I think you can guess how the sequence of names on this list will come about. The Committee believes that The Noble Process will not require billions but most likely in the neighborhood of mere thousands globally.

BRING BACK '93! …ask me how!
Giza bumper sticker, button, t-shirt merch opportunities here … Just sayin’
Unless I missed it, he did not say billions must be sacrificed to save the planet.
… At this point what does it matter whether or not he said billions? A billion here, a billion there, at some point you’re talking about real population numbers.
… to paraphrase a couple of well known quotes
It seems you are correct. My motivation for acknowledging @ColonelZ 's post was that through it, I found the informative transcript of what Kerry actually said in Scotland back in August.
It does matter: if you repeat this then you will be discredited (as I was when I reposted this without checking) and people will not trust what you say. Truth is always best.
… First, please scroll to the beginning of this thread and notice that I did not initiate this thread. Second, my reply contained the words “proposal” and “acceptable”. Acceptable is a synonym for “modest” hence, A Modest Proposal. Finally, my reply beginning with “At this point …” contains (attempted humorous) references to Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Dirksen. These two posts, as well as a few of my others, are written in (what barely passes as) a Swiftian or Menckenian (I grant you these are two masters who are very difficult to emulate) vein and are meant to be taken as such. I doubt that many who read Swift’s “Modest Proposal” would think him “discredited” due to his forceful advocacy of cannibalism.
