Joseph is right...again!

I was listening to the quarterly wrap up on Catherine Austin Fitt’s website, and Joseph shared that the Japanese are technically brilliant when performing music, but their proficiency lacks their soul’s interpretation of the music. I leapt out of my chair and shouted with JOY, as I have been saying this for years but could not find anyone who shared my observation.

I heard Midori Ito play at the Disney Concert Hall in LA a few years ago and I walked out of there bewildered and disappointed. It was technically flawless and utterly soul-less. No one could understand what I was saying about the performance.

THANK YOU, Joseph, for validating my personal musical experience.

I play the piano, clarinet, tuba and Celtic harp, and would rather hear a mediocre musician playing with heart and soul than a technically flawless “AI” human performance.

For some good “soul”, watch Sidney Bechet’s playing a year or so before he died in 1949, I believe it was. Or watch B.B. King at any time!! He really felt his music!!
