The TV series “The Mentalist” illustrated these ideas so perfectly, and with style, and in so many other more informative ways. The Mentalist series is my go to favorite, and I watch the entire series of episodes over and over. Buy the DVD set since there are a few extras that give any of us a beautiful insight into the real difference between a person who is called a ‘physic’, and the reality. A sort of ‘behind the scenes’ look into the idea of being highly observant instead of ‘over-educated’ regarding human behavior.
There are other TV series that will open your eyes, one of which is “Person of Interest” that eventually directs our attention to an ‘AI’ computer system that is corrupted into a means of control of everyone’s thoughts’, behavior’s, and actions. Once a Person learns how to thwart the ‘bad’ intentions directing humanity then it is possible to live our life beyond whatever it is that directs us onto the ‘wrong’ path. Read carefully, “Kreskin often stressed he was not a psychic, mind reader or hypnotist, but that he used body language cues and the power of suggestion to guide people’s actions.”
Person of Interest was an enjoyable series. I liked it. Very interesting indeed. I’m sure there’s ‘entities’ around the world capable of doing what the shows narrative purported to be. The ‘Hollywoods’ of the world always know ahead of the rest of us. They’re enlightened before we are…always.
Buy the DVD set because it has the interviews with the producer that offers a better glimpse into the ‘world’ of reading minds.
… as a child I saw him many times on television. As a result I asked my parents if they would buy me Kreskin’s Krystal.
… little did I realize until many years later that this had been my first brush with Philosophy in the form of what is known as Phenomenology.

My parents weren’t exactly the “buy me” type for the most part. However, in a related note…
i did find myself asking for FORGIVENESS after damaging a goodly number of mom’s silverware in a futile attempt to master Uri Geller’s spoon bending technique
and if that’s not enough…in episode IV i’ll expand on a similar subject: The wreck of the living
room during my training stage/first uses of “the Force”…
My belief is many of us ‘knew’ it was happening and there were a few TV and movie producers who could develop scripts, storylines and themes that exposed what was happening in the world. Some of the themes such as transgender issues just did not appeal to me, but the books authored by Dr Farrell filled in many of those gaps. Dr Scott de Hart did some interviews that were also very helpful.
