I distinctly remember checking his Wikipedia page last spring upon reading of his death at that time. I thought this announcement of September 28, 2024 was a mistake in the date. Hmmmm

I thought I recalled him getting named in one of the million music/movie famous people have dirt on them releases - but after this “announcement” seems to only be glowing remembrances.

I’d heard something similar years ago when the Laurel Canyon stories started to come out. He was likened to Jim Morrison because like Morrison, his father was also a career military man, only Kristofferson was shuttled off to Hollywood then later on to the country music scene to spread his ‘joy’. I’ve since looked into this and found nothing.
