Can’t help but wonder what Ron Paul is thinking right now.
It truly is going in the proverbial hand basket.
What are the chances that this was the first time DJT has heard from anyone they think his ‘fast track’ accomplishment was a big mistake? DJT was trying to ‘relate’ to the libertarian ethos…that’s pretty good. There are sooo many informed pundits saying he should back away from ‘fast track’ as an accomplishment and confess he was deceived. He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy a staff/advisers would have the courage to tell he’s rubbing people the wrong way with claiming it as a success. So, awkward yes. Therapeutic and cause for him to get his staff working on a position / way out? Yes to that too. Let’s see if he learns.

Oh Lord NO! Not only would that be political suicide, it would invite more impetus for outright assassination! If Trump wants a 2nd reign; and his ego does view it as such, he needs to just shut his mouth about it, for now. He had the chance to stop it pretty early on, but didn’t.
Notice his talk of ‘success’ started in a big way after his ex-wife’s ‘accident’ (July 2022). Before her death, there was that of his brother (Aug. 2020). Anyone can guess as to who would be #3. This is very hard messaging of a mob or gang style, and please don’t equate this strictly with Italian mafioso. These practices are ages old. Trump is well compromised now.

Robert Barnes has been asked about this several times. He said that’s just not him.
I think he’s been advised not to bring it up.
