- Recently an F-35 crashed in Utah. Each of these planes costs between 77 and 115 million USD (depending on version). Question: In terms of each dollar spent on one of these plans what is the % breakdown?
In other words to whom and to where does each part of the dollar end up? A reasonable question given that you will vote on approving the funds. If they reply that they don’t know, as a follow up, ask them if they can tell you where within the government one might go to find out such information.
Below are links to other information about cost and funding for aircraft if you are interested.
… a thought I’ve had for a while but haven’t seen addressed. During the recent “tic tac” UFO encounter the story we were told was that not 1, but 2 F-18 Super Hornets (cost of each 66.9 million USD) were sent up to intercept the UFO. The story mentions that the Super Hornets were not armed but only had cameras.
"The USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, which included the nuclear-powered carrier and the missile cruiser USS Princeton, were conducting a series of drills prior to deployment in the Persian Gulf.
At about 2 p.m., two F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jets from the Nimitz received an unusual order from an operations officer aboard the Princeton. Already airborne, the pilots were told to stop their training maneuvers and proceed to new coordinates for a “real-world” task.
More ominously, the officer asked if they were carrying live weapons. They replied that they were not." - from an account on the History Channel site. (I know, I know)
- Question: Why would you send up 140 million USD worth of aircraft (not to mention the training costs of those on board - D and F models have two crew members and according to Forbes the training costs for each pilot range between 5.6 - 10.9 million USD) to confront these UFOs with “unknown motives” with “incredible flight capabilities” with 2 aircraft that have NO LIVE WEAPONS?
Hmmmmmm. Hard to believe that a carrier strike group out for “training” had no armed “air cover”, you know, just in case. As you all know … so many problems with this story …
… please add to this list of questions that one might take with them to their next chats with candidates.
