I keep seeing headlines about the asteroid, but am getting snowed under trying to keep up with all the news.
May I ask what the timeline is for this to occur?

An asteroid deemed “potentially hazardous” – and larger than any building on Earth – will zoom by the planet today and there’s a chance you just might be able to catch a glimpse.
An asteroid deemed “potentially hazardous” – and larger than any building on Earth – will zoom by the planet today and there’s a chance you just might be able to catch a glimpse.
1994 PC1 is estimated to be 3,600 feet wide, roughly 1,000 feet longer than Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world, USA Today reported. 1994 PC1 was first discovered in August 1994 and is considered “potentially hazardous” because it crosses the Earth’s orbit. Despite the designation, however, the asteroid won’t cause any issues for Earth.
At its closest approach the asteroid will be about 1.2 million miles away, the closest it will be until 2150.
How to see asteroid 1994 PC1
The Rome-based Virtual Telescope Project will host a livestream starting at 3 p.m. EST (2 p.m. CST). Its closest approach will be around 4:51 p.m. EST (3:51 p.m. EST) when it will be traveling 43,754 miles per hour.
If you have a backyard telescope, you may be able to see the asteroid as well, or at least the light it reflects. Look around 25 degrees in elevation around the Eridanus constellation. The asteroid will look like a small light in the sky.

Apophis is Wormwood, this is the one to watch. Why, its biblical!
Tom Horn’s alarming new work investigating the ultimate biblical prophecy of Wormwood, which seems to have a distinctive bread crumb trail leading to April 13, 2029 with NASA’s cover-up of “Apophis”.
NASA coverup???
@dixiejrt
I am similarly snowed under, but thought it happened last night.
Astronomy Live is one of the few YT channels that carries bonafide footage of the skies; personally, I don’t trust any of the others. (Just FYI)
