I think the reason people are so hesitant to agree with this is that in the end, it makes us feel stupid.

It’s truth though. The ego seems to override almost everything in the general human population.
I’ve known people who have literally let themselves die rather than admit being wrong.
People do not like to feel stupid because we’re still under the mistaken impression that we are masters of our own destiny, completely. It might be true to a certain extent but not completely. This is regardless of our belief system.
I think much, if not all of this is related to Dr.'s N&V’s today. Off Biden fam & others in power too. They are taking us down and diverting our attention in really big ways we couldn’t imagine before.
