It seems to have been noticed during the Korean War, 1950-1953 with soldiers….blamed on rats along the Hantan River…sure. Biological warfare?

It was a high dollar cruise for wealthy travelers…perhaps family inheritances were at stake. Eating at the Captain’s table could be hazardous to one’s health.
