… Wow! these Data Centers are going to take up too much of our criminal illegal resources … lets sorta, kinda slow them down for while. Not enough graft for everyone.

Gov. has no business sense. They should make a deal with the data center to build their own power plant, with a capacity exceeding the data centers needs by an agreed upon amount, that allows for the data centers growth and sale of excess electricity to the surrounding communities. The moneys from the power plant will also help the datacenter and power plant amortization.

Don’t have enough right kind of popaganda?
Perhaps mass killer shots into the right demographics would work?
Try a few things, and then come back in a year or two?

Didn’t the president sign an EO that states could not interfere with technology wanted by the fed - something like that…

They want to control what States can do about AI.
States have a Constitutional right to make their own laws regarding AI.
But, the Federal Government doesn’t recognize the US Constitution.
Unless, it happens to enhance their ideologies and/or pockets.

So true. Too many Americans don’t realize the change or never knew anything about the Constitution anyway. Alass

Resistance to our electronic panopticon was expected regarding the build out of the needed Data Centers. The reporting on protesting and organizing to slow the Data Centers was considered and approved, however the one topic never to be mentioned in news reports was the eventual use of them to control transactions both monetary and physical.
