Reading the analysis put forth in the linked article underscores the utter and abject effort the Germans, who direct NATO, to bring the Ukraine into the NATO alliance. A situation that Russia declared to be the very thing that would surely instigate WW3. However, as it is becoming transparently clear to those who have studied History there is something totally, and fully odd about the mentality of the German people, who in almost all other aspects are a very ‘gifted’ race of people.
And, once folks read and understand JPF’s book “The Third Way” they will begin to comprehend the reasons behind their insane thought processes.

A fairly good overall analysis. The main takeaway to consider is the Ukrainians’ are in a very weak, desperate situation. The Ukraine is a huge chunk of land, and there is one highly important point to remember" back in the late 18th Century Empress of Russia purchased ALL of the Ukraine from the Ottoman Empire for an estimated $17,8 million in the treaty that ended the war. Therefore, under no imaginable circumstance will the nation of Russia allow anyone to take the Ukraine from them under any imaginable circumstance.
What we are witnessing is the means and method by which the Russians are weaking their adversaries by means of attrition. The one very important point almost everyone fails to take into account is the Russians have an overwhelming arsenal of newer, more lethal weapons, missiles, and other ‘stuff’ to use in their effort to regain their territory, which borders the heartland of Russia. The European headquarters of NATO is in Brussels. It is my suspicion that that those folks are running out of Time, resources, and most of all a workable strategy to move forward against the Russians.

Whether people like him or not, Peter Zeihan has talked extensively about this. The Ukraine being broad and flat land and the ‘11 passes’ that must be blocked in order to prevent invaders from literally riding or rolling armament right over the plains into Russia. Catherine knew this and so does Putin.
Oh yes, the supply lines, logistics and all else is much greater for NATO than for Russia. No doubt. I watched the Russian troop build-up almost nightly for many months on the very channel at the top of this thread. Much shorter distance.
The worry here is Iran. If Israel, US & others decide to attack, this could mean Russia has to intervene and stretch itself too thin, which I think is park of The Wests plan.

The one thing to consider for the ‘actors’ you mentioned are the military supply lines for them would be far more vulnerable to interdict than the overland supply routes Russia has easy access to. Iran also has huge strategic importance to Russia, plus Iran also has an oil pipeline going into Europe.
Then consider that Israel owes the Russians a huge historical ‘debt’. One that I discovered in my research during the war against the Kurdish populations in Syria many years ago, which uncovered a very odd bit of archeological excavations in the ancient ruins of Palmyra, Syria. Looking at a map of the region a person will find it is located ‘smack’ in the middle of Syria. The most interesting, and highly odd thing is it is the location of the Temple of Bel, sometimes also referred to as the Temple of Baal. Israeli was so interested in those ancient ruins they sent a large team of archeologists to the area, but they needed protection from ISIS [Islamic State]. The Russians struck a deal with Israel and sent some of their elite Spetsnaz units to Syria for ground support, and also used air strikes to ‘clobber’ ISIS.
Now the most interesting find among the ancient ruins was the ancient word for ‘Jerusalem’ chiseled into some of the temple columns. So, how eye opening is that fact? But, if you dig deeper into the mystery, you will discover Palmyra, Syria was an ancient ‘hub’ for traders between the Far East and the costal hubs used by ‘traders’. Or as some would say they should more aptly be called traitors.
This was as dumb as punching chuck Norris in the nuts.
Hope the proxy war ends quickly before the fight really is to the last Ukrainian.
