Man Of The House - With Special Guest Rep.Thomas Massie!

Massie has been taking a lot of heat lately. He has not been going along with every move the Republican party wants him to support (vote for). I haven’t made a study of it but my impression of him from prior listening sessions was he is a stalwart in his beliefs…sees through many of the surface level narratives and votes accordingly. This will almost certainly cause him to be against or for legislative moves on both sides from time to time that make leadership uncomfortable. I hope present leadership does not proceed to crush a voice who seemingly speaks insightful truths. I’m sure Ron Paul disappointed party leadership from time to time back in his tenure. They didn’t try to crush him to my knowledge.

It’s also interesting that his wife died just a month or so after his Carlson interview, an cause has never been revealed. Massie said he turned down AIPAC money and ‘guidance’.

I was aware of his wife’s untimely death. Not very old (compared to me). I would think if he suspected she was killed as some sort of warning to him he would have changed / become more bitter. I don’t see that in him today.

You’re probably right. I just thought it odd.
