"Many courts still rely primarily on couriers and fax machines." The reason for that is simple, they're more secure than the internet

“The common law has always used precedents, but what is being used here is different — it’s figuring out how a judge likes an argument to be framed, what language they like using, and feeding it back to them.”

Appeal to the ears and ego?

Cornering judges through the use of their words. Hopefully the AI screws up. Also sounds like the start of possibly eliminating judges/juries in favor of AI technology.

That seems to be exactly what’s going on. AI doesn’t quite have hang of the lingo yet but, an atty, or, legal asst. can fix that. AI is a child learning to speak.

It’s different in writing than spoken. Ex. FED Chair Powell, Treasurer Janet Yellen and many other top guns, when speaking, begin their sentences with the word “So”. (Talking to the grandkids, maybe?) If you were to submit something in writing to them, I doubt it would be acceptable if any sentence began with “So”.
