If they were smart about it, they would plan a overt mission after covertly going there for years and years, already having pre-mapped the whole planet out and already finding all the artifacts to be found… oh wait, let me just check my notes here.

Yes, that’s absolutely possible that brake ways with their secret tech already visited Mars and beyond.
Thats why I maintain my opinion that whole Musk enterprise is part of large operation of “forcing the hand of breakaways” where prominent presence is nonterritorial actors with Nazi International at the crux.
Overt intel and economy decided to chase their tails, and bring the black tech to the light.
Besides, I don’t think the breakaways found on Mars what they were looking for.
For that one needs to get under the good graces of Vatican, Venice, Constantinople and maybe Templars ( wherever they are: Canada anyone?)
