Yeah, advanced years is a constant reminder the “gig is almost up”…. Darn just when I was catching on…
… Two (love the new term - “criminal illegals” - see how it works? non-criminal v criminal illegals) - euphemisms everywhere in an attempt to alter meaning) that will be back on USSA streets killing and thieving very soon …
Texas DPS captures two Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants linked to Harris County crimes
… We Need A National Deportation Clock consisting of two clocks. The first clock will show how many illegals (criminal illegal seems unnecessarily redundant) … if they are here “illegally” doesn’t that already mean they are criminals? - just curious) are still coming in. I’m sure they have already calculated what the averages are per minute, hour, day, week, month. The second clock would show how many illegals have been so-called “deported”. It might be interesting.
… and (IF TRUE) are we surprised?
Exchange from the film Operation Petticoat
…
SCENE: The Japanese are bombing the navy base where the USS Sea Tiger (submarine) was being repaired.
Lt. Cmdr. Matt T. Sherman: Any idea where they went?
Lt. Watson: No, sir. When the air raid started they took off. All Mr. Holden said was “In confusion there is profit.”
There is no apparent plan for these “deportations”. It seems to be somewhat “confused”.
So yes, in confusion there is profit. Are we hiring contractors for this task? What about the National Guard or the Texas State Guard? Where are our troops? Oh yeah, they are in 128 places other than the USSA. We have PROBLEMS HERE! … in case the Defence Department hasn’t noticed.
… but we aren’t very good at leaving places … Hint, Hint … remember our recent exit from Afghanistan? … where, when we left. we armed our enemies with some of the best military equipment in the world.
If there are any accountants out there … how does the military account (on the books – I know, I know … don’t laugh) for the equipment left behind?
The guberment can’t do all the work. Good to know there are contractors ready to step in and facilitate confinement/deportations. Hopefully, the ‘detentions’ are very short term…like days before the illegals are transported OCONUS. Unfortunately necessary to the process. There are only so many C-17s to transport them away.
The 3,387,858 total force personnel is made up of 2,509,590 military personnel and 878,268 DOD civilians. DOD active-duty members make up 50.7% of total military personnel. (dubious numbers from the Internet)
Not sure if these numbers include Reserve, and Various “Guards”. So, not exactly sure why we need to expend funds on contractors? Unless, there is work we don’t want to be seen doing.
@XSEXCESS
While I’d like to share your optimism, as you probably know, my view is a different one. There’s no better set-up for screening those ‘immigrants’ capable of labor, and deporting those who are not.
50% tariffs seems to be quite the effective baseball bat.
Geee, really? … they just move to a different place? Wow! Who wudda thunk it?
If we don’t do what needs to be done … , then they just infest other places.
So, if a story was circulating how a band of folks happened to be found in a bank vault with bags full of cash prior to the posted ‘opening time’ of the bank then we simply use your logic, correct? Certainly, it would seem to be the case since what those folks could say is they were simply making an early withdrawal of funds because the bank had an unusually curious habit of putting limits on their business hours and furthermore had a rigid habit of checking the IDs of its customers in order to keep the traffic flow limited during its business hours. So therefore, anyone having no honest interest in being in the bank, since they could maintain an argument that they were completely, and utterly justified, and forced to act in that fashion because of the ridiculous and unjustified limited withdrawal time frame the bank had posted outside its doors. Same with all the completely, and utterly justified security provisions of a sovereign nation. It has no real justification in law to erect barriers on its borders. Oh, wait the Biden’s ordered all those safeguards changed, and the fences dismantled. Now it is beginning to make sense of what your arguments are based upon. You know it all sort of goes back in time to the Spanish American War, and they just cannot accept that they lost that fight.
… let us not forget the Chinese … just curious … What happens to those doing the “transporting”? … Oh, yeah …now I remember … NOTHING. They’ll be driving more “illegals” around soon.
… Even Fox … Chinese migrants … Come Now Fox … “Chinese Communist Illegals”
… This just in … News reporters absolutely unable to any longer use language correctly … They can’t stop using Newspeak.
(sung to the tune of Music, Music, Music)
Put another “migrant” in
Into the no window van
All I want is smuggling you
And Newspeak, Newspeak, Newspeak
“We are Chia-nese if you please…
We are Chia-nese if you DON’T please…
Now we looking over our NEW DOMICILE”
If we like we stay for maybe QUITE a while…"
Too much? I gotta get off the sauce…
… and now this … Hmmmm … looks like we need to deploy some M61 Vulcans
… might settle some of this “chaos” about which they are speaking. CTFD
… forget the snipers … no need to put anyone in any danger except those on the receiving end of this piece of machinery.
6000 solutions per minute…
… and the hits just keep on a comin’
Maybe Ellis Island could be turned into a prison too, like the island of Cuba became over the years. Lady Liberty has definitely over stayed her welcome.
help me out here.
the edward mandell house quote is particularly juicy. but a quick search on “where does it come from” didn’t yield anything but being bandied about without attribution besides an airy “it was in a letter to wilson”
okay, where?
