Massive explosion rocks bridge in Panama

The Bridge of the Americas in Panama was blasted by a tanker truck explosion and forced the immediate shutdown of traffic on the bridge, one of the country’s most important transport links. While the explosion did not occur directly on the bridge, flames billowing beneath the crossing fueled concern over its structural integrity. Video of the fire caught on traffic camera.

… nice little canal youse haz dere. Here’s hopin’ nuttin’ happens to it. Imagine if the Strait of Hormuz, the Panama Canal, and The Suez Canal were all suddenly “closed”.

Why close the canals? Just ‘funnel’ the ships into more narrow lanes. The ships loaded with a nation’s wealth or weapons become easy targets for the drones to hit and sink thereby further draining a country’s resources. Sunken ships also create more obstructions which further narrows the waterway. Sort of like shooting ducks in a barrel.
