MEMBERS: WEBINAR-CHAT OF SEPT 29, 2023 on THE DEMON IN THE EKUR

Originally published at: Members Only

OK folks, this week is our first directed topic vidchat, on my new book The Demon in the Ekur, so please keep your questions or comments confined to that general area. To kick things off, here are “those questions” from the book, including some of my own notes for what I want to say when I kick…

At he Beginning of Dr. Farrell’s WEBINAR-CHAT; he reads his introduction/questions and proceeds to frame his book in several ways. I found this extremely informative, and a great prelude to the following member’s comment & questions.
Had I heard this beforehand, my comments and questions would have been framed somewhat different.
However; Dr. Farrell would take the questions and then answer them by taking the question/comments and arranging them, in a proper frame; from which to then to explain the various implications and possibilities, depending upon what, indeed, plasmas really are.
He doesn’t pretend to know what they really are; he knows what they aren’t.
He draws from his considerable knowledge about them, and passes that on to his listeners with analogies, stories, and quotations.

You’ll come away much more informed about plasmas in particular.

I purposely just read the first chapter of his book only; once he hinted that he might do this.
Now, I can read it in a frame[from beginning to end] - that will make my read more in tune with the author’s viewpoint.
Like most of my readings, I’ll have different ways of interpreting what’s what, but at least I’ll have a much better foundation - from which to draw my conclusions.

Still, as with almost everything - things change.
As will, I’m sure; those to be conclusions

Indeed. If you can grab Nick Redfern’s book Final Events, I would. It is an interesting read.

Yes.
I immediately went to amazon and looked at the price.
Then on to my library, and ordered it as an interlibrary loan.

I found this very helpful for understanding the plasma-life hypothesis and its implications. I’m partway though The Demon in the Ekur, and I’m sure I will get more out of the book after listening to this presentation.

The possibility of doing another webinar-chat was mentioned. One Gizar suggested the Topological Metaphor of the Medium would make a good topic – I agree! It would be especially helpful for newbies and those who’ve only been full members for a couple of years, who haven’t been around for all the past vidchats where the Metaphor was discussed.

I concur that the Topological Metaphor of the Medium would be a good choise. I don’t know about the newbie thing, I find that Gnostic hokus pokus very potent. Every time I think I understood some of the Metaphor it gets overwritten in due time and its fade away for the most part. I really have to work hard and reread God History and Dialectic series to keep it alive as all Joseph’s books. I don’t find Joseph’s string along hypothesis all that easy to keep all together. That or I am stupid!
