Another physicist who is expressly involved in plasma and fusion has been eliminated. Eerily reminiscent of the heinous murder of Eugene Mallove 20 years prior.

It’s in the news here, as he was Portuguese - 47 years old and father of three…
From the MIT page - “Loureiro has an active interest in several fundamental aspects of magnetized plasma dynamics, such as magnetic reconnection, magnetic field generation and amplification, confinement and transport in fusion plasmas, and turbulence in strongly magnetized, weakly collisional plasmas.”

Looks as if it’ll go the same way as many unexplained deaths, whether it be microbiologists or Nuclear Scientists in Iran.
I wonder if he rediscovered (in a public fashion vs black budget already known) important useful properties and forms of plasmas and magnetism for transportation, energy, and antigravity and thus had to go.
Or if it was just ‘societal violence’
