I’m not sure Iran would take the step to nuclear war. Russia, India, China and other countries like Turkey will come up with a better plan. Reason being starting a nuclear exchange would only lead to world-wide disruption on a huge magnitude so how would that help the BRICS Alliance? Most of the rest of world is also going to warn against it. The most likely thing to happen is the Dollar will no longer be used for world-wide trade, and other punitive actions against the USA.
Things might calm down a little if Republicans in Congress starts impeachment hearings very soon. Even if that happens the next election cycle will still result in the Democrats making huge gains nationwide.
