Viber was left intact?
well, TikTok is Chinese, Telegram is Russian, Viber is Belorussian. possibly it’s international politics? 
I think part of the reason that people want TikTok banned is that it doesn’t have “fact checkers” like the US based social networks… I’m sure China is collecting a buttload of information but I think the lack of control over the content plays a factor too. Control freaks don’t like it when other control freaks infringe on their turf.
It’s banned from government computers here in Australia too. But our government is so far up the United State government’s backside (has been for decades) it can check for hemorrhoids and polyps. So naturally would do anything Uncle Sam says, including selling us nuclear subs for a price that breaks the national budget and puts a big target on our backs.
