More music for a .........HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hello fellow Gizars,
In the spirit of the season, [and this time in promotion of my more talented unindicted co-conspirator rather than myself] I again am uploading a musical link, this time of a medley of songs relating to the holiday, performed by Mrs. WhiteRaven, which we just finished recording and producing. I hope it gets y’all into the spirit of the Spooky season. :ghost: Enjoy!

Please don’t forget Pretty much the most underrated unplayed Halloween song ever, and one of the best . Came out in 1984, way ahead of its time- Dream Syndicate

Thanks for sharing, WhiteRaven, and a Happy and Bright Halloween Fest to you and your Family, and to all the Giza Community!

Mrs. WhiteRaven is a talented musician, and we really appreciate the efforts you have made to share this with us!

I listened to the first piece (for now) on the linked track, and it is lovely, sung with feeling – reminiscent of my image of the “Old America” – the kinds of gentle music that used to be common, and how I long for that kind of music to be played in public spaces! (Where we live, you walk into any public space, and it’s the dim, dark, unmusical, droning, thumping crap that assaults the ears everywhere).

Thank you for your passion for the fine side of the Arts!

Well, hold on to your seats because it is quite an eclectic album stylistically, ranging from that first Rogers & Hart track to rock, Charlie Daniels, blues as well as some darker comedic tracks, and even ending with a bit of Gregorian chant to enhance the mood. Hope you enjoy them all since we attempted to approach each style with careful attention to detail in order to bring out the best from each genre.

Indeed, we listened to all of them, and were quite impressed with your wife’s talent!
A mark of a fine musician is the ability to mimic – and she immerses herself into the different styles of music with ease. I think “eclectic” is a good description for this set.

Thank you for sharing your musical talents with us, as a bit of the antidote to all the political darkness.

So glad you enjoyed them. It was a fun album to produce! And, to all Gizars who enjoyed it, be sure to click on the link to the main channel, with the additional 60+ tracks which I have been able to upload as yet (out of close to 300 recorded so far[!]). I believe she is doing in the area of 20th century popular music what Joseph & I are doing thru our compositions and arrangements in the classical arena, that is, promoting the integrity of the western musical tradition, Schoenberg, Glass and the Gnostics not withstanding!
