My suspicions lately rest with the BREAKAWAY technologies.
Nazi International, for example.
In other words; the list of suspects are numerous, but extraterrestrials fall to the bottom of my list.
They exists, no doubt; but are not advertising their presence.
More likely; obfuscating it, at best.
Great analogy by the way: “…make a Martian mountain out of a NASA molehill.”.
Covering ALL angles; yes, it could be alive.
Or, even from MARS herself?

As to why?
Ancient artifacts?
A Catherine Fitts’ “Stacked OP”?
Of which, controlling their narrative, over NASA narrative?
Or, a probe from one of Mar’s Moons?
Wireless in scope?
Hidden on Mars, but connected to her moons?
No telling what hidden sentinels, within the solar system, are set to be “awakened”?
Hidden by some automated trip wires.
The Cosmic Treaty; automated clauses?
Waiting for enforcement?
Perhaps, one or more was tripped; and Earth’s digital panopticon, began construction?
If the Eath’s leadershp knew[whatever it is]?
The population would be the last to know.
At least, those still alive; or able to think for themselves.

now imagine the factions on Mars prying Curiosity’s planned route, what and when to evade…
possibly the operator forgot that his flying Martian ‘amphibious’ drone-probe with wheels, though leaves no trace in the sky, but leaves some on the ground. maybe this ‘hotwheel’ left its tracks years before, and were not matched to the Rover’s future path beforehand… so here we are scratching our heads over an administrative fault.
but we are the Martians, aren’t we? according to the zulu, we are.

I dunno, but many stories dance around.
we are hybrids for sure, and the races do (dis)criminate us from each other. then there is the time when ‘language was one’ followed by the Babel moment.
and it would be interesting if they had us taught Mohenjo-Daro, and the nuclear fallout of Sodom and Gomorra in school…
so our type of humanity is what we have to work with.

People already don’t believe 50%, and rapidly heading toward 90%, of what they’re told or shown due to their belief that it’s made by an AI. Answering some of these long standing questions becomes moot as so few people know they can rely on the source of the answer that in effect the question will remain unanswered.
Reacting to that will lead to people gladly taking a mark that proves they’re not an AI when they interact with others and the only real question will be who refuses the mark.

Nope, can’t ditch the iPhone, Apple has a flip phone. No personal computers hooked to internet either…what would that look and feel like? No access to Vid Chats or Gizars or immediate access to the world outside your door?

I have a desk top.
Originally had to get it to keep my job.
The owners sold out to a company that changed the operation.
Now, the work force would work from their homes.
Computer a must.
Evetually your residual customers, would be passed on to the owners’ friends and family.
You would be reclassified as an indepenedent contractor.
I fought them, and won.
A pyrrhic victory.
Still it cost them.
As others recognized them for what they were.
Eventually; the nepotism couldn’t close deals, nor develop new customers.
They withered on the vine…
