Can’t have people eating meat… plant based “beyond burgers” are much better for you and the environment. So, is this a scare tactic, or has the deer heard been contaminated? Those are my speculations.

I have been curious about indigenous bats. Now we have to worry about deer/elk. What next dogs, cats, rats, mice, cows and pigs. I will guess consumption of properly cooked meat would be safe. Processing the animal to eat may cause exposure.
Maybe it’s because they grazed on pawpaws?!
