Musk´s latest rocket test exploded on launch pad

It was never supposed to take off and was the first time 32 raptor engines were fired at once. Surprisingly, even despite never intending to launch, it blew up anyway. Who knows why, perhaps it blew because all that power was tethered, not allowed to release itself by taking off? I hope Musk has not gone with the cheap labor visa thing . . . . . that produces SUCH GREAT results . . . . .

somebody clearly does not want Elon to mess around too much.

I don’t think Elon cares. His Tesla in space was the biggest hint to the space program, IMHO.

He thought that if he sells couple of ancient archeology chachkas from Lost city of Kalahari (his grandparents were avid pilots and "amateur archeologists- his words not mine ) that Nazi International US chapter in exchange will provide him with great tech tips in order to get to Mars and get rest of that coveted ancient tech from the time of cosmic war, what a hubris, what an ego, :smirk:

Don’t count him out yet. Deals can still be made.

We can’t get to the moon “again” but we have plans to go to Mars or plunder an asteroid? Just having a problem with the arithmetic.

Musk is all hype.

I don’t know about Sahara and its ancient rivers but recently a small country in the Western Sahara region called Mali is on my mind. Some suspicious activities of big players are going on there. Everybody is trying to put its foot there. From Putin sponsored guns for hire called Wagner Group, recent German official travel and long-standing ever-growing US, UK, France positions there. Even small Poland is trying its luck there. Qui bono? Uranium and rare earths?
Maybe but country is small, and their deposits are not that great. Then why? Personally, I like to dabble in some HOS as far as Mali and its medival time history that is least to say unusual for African country. Just the wiki info about Mansa Musa empire can spin dozens of conspiracies theories. For example, his trip to Mecca thru Egypt, where he spent so much gold that after he left Egypt experience similar inflation as couple of hundred years later Cortazar Spain.
Why did he first spend 3 days at Giza? Why most of gold was spent in Egypt instead of Mecca a final destination for hajj? Why upon return he started to build mosqes in a shape of pyramids, and on and on I could go.

It is a horrible decision to buy a Tesla car. You will wait for years if you need parts:

Guessing - Easy access to primary water?

I don’t know what primary water is, but my money is on somekind of ancient tech or a map from Egipt. No one throws ones empire fortune in Egypt for nothing. Mansa Musa uncle was lost at sea with his fleet going West on Atlantic.

I’m not saying it isn’t something ancient, but remember what Qaddafi did? Much of that was Primary water.
