It’s something I should have let be some while ago, but somehow against my better judgement, I still find myself taunting the walking Dead-(former friends)… I think it’s disbelief. It’s something akin to trying to get reliable information from a Ouija board , or shouting at someone in a coma… I never dreamed I’d live to see such a mass abduction of Minds. The sheer scope and depth of it is overwhelming, and beyond exhausting. I suppose the revelation is mostly of the “Self”- and how, at best, one can barely manage even that… What a trip!!

Try this when it is the one person in your family with whom you used to have contact. Stupidity hurts.

This is healthier by far than waiting for an apology like I do. They aren’t going to apologize.

I handle friends like that as if in a social situation and converse only about the weather and stuff. Obviously the discussions about any and all topics as we used to do, is no longer possible. They are caught in the dialectic and lost as intelligent rational beings. Can’t help those who refuse to help themselves, but I can still love them. It hurts sometimes, yes.
