Will humanity finally see some quality images of what is really on the moon or will it be fictional storytelling ?

Isn’t NASA getting slightly ahead of itself here? After all
… STEP 1 … actually arrive on the moon’s surface

So far this appears to be the problem at hand.

… and to get ahead of criticism … Given the recent space related difficulties NASA might want to be informing the public of any “problems” experienced on the many “perfect” previous moonshots. The feeling is that there will be “problems”. God forbid any of them be catastrophic.
