National fuel protest. So before the EU imposed one, the people imposed a lockdown of their own. Can it become a movement to remove a coalition that enjoys about 36% of the national vote?

Rather than wait for the lockdown predicted by CAF, we the people decided to impose one first, on the government, or more accurately the local branch management of the EU. What started out as fuel protest, when as instructed, the branch management actually imposed more carbon taxes on over priced fuel already. FAFO, now every fuel outlet nationwide and national fuel processing/storage facilities are blockaded except for emergency and essential services access.
The army was called, but was recalled - there was a disturbance in the force. We are four days into this and the protest is still growing in numbers, but also concomitant issues of the technocratic imposition of stupidity may morph this towards a movement.

Army threat withdrawn - not a runner really. But now it looks like little alpha testing going , the Army return to smaller local village protests to remove vehicles. Noting Gardaí (police) looking like extras off a Star Wars set…these look ridiculous, they know it, many of their families actually are in the protest, and a “blue flu” is setting in "i.e. they report in sick by law they are not allowed to protest or strike.

If protesters remain non-violent, time is on their side. The aggressive police tactics are moving from Whitegate refinery to the smaller local protests. Whitegate Oil refinery has been forcibly been reopened, Big mistake, they are losing the narrative rapidly, and don’t seem to realise the current level of support and what doing this type of aggression does! Gardaí, undercover agent provocateurs, are appearing and being spotted in city protests now as well

The high level threats are being deployed to collectively punish the farming community by the Tanaiste (dep Prime Minsiter) Harris, using Trumpian language of "civilisation"ending effects on the farming community. He’s lost it, and he is actaually now helping to morph this protest into the greater thing (removal of this government) by doing so . Not so sure these antics at smaller local protests married with nationally broadcaster “frighteners” and threats to farmers will work somehow.

I think the government are in an extreme constipationless state, fearing that this will morph into a protest against carbon taxing and credits. Imagine that. But they are too late, the conversation is shifting quickly to just that and not just in the aole context of the fuel price issue And that is just one of their issue-coagulation problems and fears. People are discovering and enjoying their actual power. It’s not an abstract notion any more and the “far right” fairy folk and folk tales seemed to have disappeared from their consciousness. Morale is everything now as the opposition smaller parties and independent parliamentary representatives are calling on another critical coalition party (comprised of government supporting independents), to support a vote of no confidence in this government and to remove them from office.

I hope that should these people be removed from office that there are good people to take their place. If they have anticipated this they might be ready with shills to step in and take their place. That is what happens here (Uniparty clones) and why no matter who is in office there is never any change.
