This story came from W.G., and it alarmed me because of the way certain seemingly isolated “trends” can be combined with others to create truly nightmare scenarios, and in today’s USSA, I have no doubt “they” are already hard at work doing so, and figuring out how to “market” those combined “trends.” The story itself…
That “bioengineered” fancy word is cover up for GMO. Just using prefix: bio is supposed to calm consumer down, in a line all good, aren’t we all a part of biological life forms?
In today’s world reading food labels is a must. The simpler the better.
Verified non-GMO Project it is American consumer activist group that certifies for purity of food on US market at least in GMO regard. They are responsible for legislations forcing US companies to inform consumers if their products contain GMO.
Yet, Big-Agra was able to negotiate a different name for their GMO products, benevolent one (who do they think they deceive, themselves only), hence bioengineered was born.
With tightening grip on American Farmers by Big Agra, especially small and mid size farms, I fear that we are closer to the day, that consumer will be completely in a dark as far as composition and content of their food supply.
And don’t forget: Non-GMO does not mean pesticide-free. Even non-GMO crops are often sprayed with glyphosate (and who knows what else).
Your only hope to get clean food in a supermarket is to buy certified organic. That’s not a guarantee the food is clean and natural, but the odds are better than with non-organic.
Correct, that is why I use bicarbonate even on my own produce. We are far from clean food, do our best is all we can do!
A crucial point often overlooked in the GMO debate is that even if the genomes of the harvested plants or animals used as raw materials for industrial processing are not genetically modified, the bacteria used in fermentation often are. It’s not just the raw material that’s the issue – there’s GMO potential at multiple steps of any manufacturing process. The vast majority of vitamins and supplements are produced via bacterial fermentation, mediated by genetically altered bacteria non-existent in nature, which can alter the molecular structure of the final product and has been noted to hold the same allergen potential.
Thank you for sharing this information… I’m sure it was news to many as it was to me.
You are welcome, Dr. Farrell. High-quality yeast is an excellent source of B vitamins, which are essential for optimal metabolism. It’s important to note that the primary target of ethanol (alcohol), psychoactive drugs such as marijuana and various cannabidiols, and the effects of non-native electrical fields from technology is the body’s stores of B vitamins. Therefore, maintaining adequate levels of B vitamins, vitamin C, and D3 is crucial for overall health. These three nutrients are fundamentally necessary for survival. While many other dietary supplements are available, they are often fads or may contain excipients that can trigger autoimmunity. A focused approach on these core nutrients is the most effective way to support well-being.
