New meaning to the term ... Being ripped off by your government (in this case the USPS)

… love the lead, “This is at least the third recent incident of a U.S. Postal Service worker stealing valuable mail.”

While Annie Jacobsen is no slouch as a government SHILL, I mean after all she’s right up there in the front row of the second raters with the likes of Leslie Kean, even shills on occasion make a point …
I believe it was in her book The Pentagon’s Brain: An Uncensored History of DARPA
she mentions that in one of her interviews for the book with a “former” DARPA employee he mentions that one of DARPA’s biggest concerns at the time he worked there was the loss of the “trust molecule”.

Yes, it should be of major concern, but it obviously isn’t … The GCJ (think HAL from 2001), USAID, and probably every other agency of the government thieving from the people in every possible way imaginable and previously unimaginable (e.g. funding of transgender comics, condoms for the Taliban, and LGBQ xyzabc123 operas).

It occurs to me that even the partial lists of what USAID was funding are showing that this is the opportune time to apply for a grant funding a revival of Springtime for Hitler. Its quite obvious that none of the paperwork is actually being read by anyone before approval. I have great confidence that this funding request would be approved.

The United States Post Office ladies and gentlemen…

Making DEI hires way before it was cool. Had a $1000 USPS money order stolen by one of
their employees. It was in the same envelope (itself inside another envelope) with another $750
money order. To throw off suspicion apparently…they left me one

As long as this is what we allow…this is what we’ll get. I’m with George Carlin on this one:

I worked for the USPS for a couple of years on the graveyard shift in the early 1980’s at a mail distribution center. Our crew contained four who would pile in a car and drive to a local restaurant for lunch breaks. On the way there and back we’d all get high. When sorting packages we kept an eye out for unusual parcels (usually small with no return address) that most likely contained drugs and take them home. If they contained any drugs we’d share during our shifts. During the Christmas overtime hours we all were flying on speed.

How U.S. Postal Worker Stole $1.6 Million in Tax Return Checks to Fund Trips to Strip Clubs, Luxury Travel to Bali Resort

Uh, a check deposit for $415,000+ passed without any questions? Most banks would hook the depositor up with a personal banker with that kind of balance…Looks like Sandy Springs Bank needs to change their name to Shady Bank…it started out as a Quaker bank after the Civil War.

… right? … Hmmmm. Somebody getting a cut possibly? They can’t … every bank in USAirtrip-1 would sue them for trademark, copyright and proprietary operating violations … Remember … Every Bank is a Shady Bank.
