New META AI Data Center ... 200 Billion dollars worth ... Hope it doesn't end up in Texas

… we have enough troubles with GRID function here already … warnings every time a run of cold or heat is predicted … although it might mean Texas is thinking about adding additional power production. … Nah, way to much “red tape” involved and “greasing the wheels” for such a project would probably prove to be exorbitant. Although with 2 Billion dollars Stacy Abrams might be in a loan sharking mood.

Wyoming is in the process of building a new nuclear power plant, (close to Salt Lake City and Denver) plus there’s plenty of coal and natural gas. Just need a marketing campaign aimed at the “time in nature is healthy” group…

How about we subsidize a solar farm to be used exclusively for the nurturing and development of new crop of digital chickens (a la the Digi-pets of the 90’s).

We could let the immigrant workers feed them (from their side of the border) and start another
currency coin based on their “egg” production? Once the country is fully invested, we Texans could then introduce a fake virus which would force the farms to kill off most of the flock
leaving the majority of the Chick-coin stockholders (mostly in California) a big ol’ goose egg.

The obvious next step would be for Texas to start a new coin backed by gold (The Golden egg) using the misbegotten profits (claiming ignorance of course) from the rug-pull fleece to buy up
the really real farms. These farms would then be shut down and re-purposed into vertical bug
growing facilities which would fill the recent protein need created by the massive culling of the
traditional food sources that have serviced man for millennia…

I’ve just had a fever. Pay me no mind… Hey, it makes more sense than injecting all our birds with an mRNA virus though…

It’s not just AI using so much electricity… quantum computing use enormous amounts! Around the 17 minute mark in the video you can see one of Google’s quantum computers, and some little spheres that they claim are the "roundest objects on the planet. "

… and hheerrrrrreeeee weeee gooooooo! Say goodbye to the Grid in Texas … ERCOT already panics when we get a forecast of a hot or a cold spell … Welcome to Texifornia … rolling brown and black outs coming sooooooon …

Nuclear power plants? With all the oil and gas in Texas? Don’t know of any uranium deposits.
There are major oil companies who specialize in energy production. What are they thinking? Oh, maybe they’re listening to consultants who specialize in nuclear power plants.
