BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | July 11, 2022: New York City has launched a nuclear attack preparedness public service announcement to best prepare the public if such a strike is unlikely. - “While the likelihood of a nuclear weapon incident occurring in/near New York City is very low, it is important New Yorkers know the steps to stay safe,” said the city’s Emergency Management Department. And that the PSA is to encourage New Yorkers to take “key, simple steps in the event of such an incident.”
The 90-second video announcement starts off with imagery of destroyed city blocks: “So there’s been a nuclear attack,” “Don’t ask me how or why. Just know that the big one has hit. OK. So what do we do?”, the film announcer asks, giving steps to follow.
