Hedge funds being used to buy up the power utilities, farms, and water.
AI is to be fed power & water; over human beings.
The AI Power chain; has moved above, the human food chain.
The Military’s Kill-Chain; has the human factor, as it’s weakest link.

In the UK we have seen water price increases of almost 50% in one case. The reason we are told is much needed infrastructure investment.

… If you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn and one in San Francisco that I’ll sell you very cheaply. One can live 3-4 weeks without food, 3-4 days without water.

@Scarmoge I would think it would have to go through a desalination process. That wouldn’t be cheap enough for these cheapskates. They want everything for nothing. Typical ‘get rich quick’ scheme. This song from 40 years ago seems to promote that scheme/theme when one thinks of Artificial Intelligence and the gathering of meta data today. From Dire Straits:

While it might not be magic in the literal sense there’s at least one word that will, in fact, open doors of many kinds for you:

Also, if I was being pedantic…I could push the “any sufficiently advanced technology” argument being just as good as magic depending if one was on the business end of it or not… since one could leverage the threat of said “magic” to motivate the ignorant to produce goods and services, sacrifices, etc in exchange for being spared the fireworks
But, yeah, you win… In the really, real world…no magic…well, maybe if you were to bury something at a crossroads at midnight and turn counterclockwise three times…no, probably still not then… was confusing magic with deals with the devil…
