Since House Joint Resolution 192 (Public Law 7310) passed in 1933, the People have been in debt because property and gold was seized by the US Govt (Corporation) due to bankruptcy. Without going to the full history of the First Bank, the OCC, the Lieber Code, the National Bank Act, etc., it is safe to say that the historical records and the other Acts of Congress proves that the US bankruptcy of 1933 means that there is no money, only credit, and that the American people are the Creditors.
All utility companies knowingly have been sending their customers dividends but, in fact, making such recipient believe that dividend was an invoice for services provided by the utiltity companies. (The bottom part of your bill that you separate and send in is a DIVIDEND and has already been paid to the utility company). Because the utility companies have mailed through the US Mail an intentional misrepresentation of facts, unfair business practices and each utility company and agents thereof have knowingly with forethought and malice created a fraudulent debt, defrauding the Creditor, this the recipient of said dividends, that the utility companies lead the recipient to believe through deception is an invoice.
The utility companies in turn then extract through extortion the measured payment from the customers instead of informing those same recipients that this dividend is in actuality payment to the recipient (iow, payment of that invoice) as a charged off debt pursuant to the incorporated in entirety documented as evidence provided herein. Every/all utility companies knowingly have thus created a convertible and fraudulent debt. (see embezzlement)
This is the beginning of a lengthy letter that I have been given to be sent to EVERY utility company charging them with fraud. The “coupon” at the bottom of every bill has already been paid so your reimbursement, thinking it is a bill, is simply “double dipping”. They ALL DO IT and we all, in our fear mode since they threaten to turn off the electric, pay anyway. Yours truly, included.
These facts make this “bill” in Ohio where they think they have the AUDACITY to curb your use or control your overpaid electric is enough for us all to wake up and GET OUR MONEY BACK.

Our utility bills in AZ are constantly going up, and the main portion of the monthly bills are miscellaneous undefined charges not directly dealing with the electricity that we are using. If we were not to use any electricity in a given month, our bill would still be approximately $70, and, oh by the way, the utility company is asking for more. Also, if one were to want to go off grid while living in the local town, it would be outlawed. You MUST hook into the grid.

I know someone who installed a nice photovoltaic system, including extra capacity for charging an electric vehicle. They did not buy an electric vehicle, though, and are grid-tied. As a result, they ship excess power to the utility monthly, but their minimum charge per month for the right to be connected is $80. They get paid nothing for their excess power!

Couldn’t agree more, the unrelenting shmooze of consumerism and consumer tech, nudging us out of humanity and natural rights towards compost, God helps us all.

Dr. Farrell nailed it 100% on every point!! I would only add that it doesn’t have to be made mandatory de jure in order for it to become a de facto necessity. All you have to do is make the electricity cost high enough and you’ll have “volunteers” in droves.

As an aside, Washington State and Virginia are building cold fusion plants. I doubt fusion will lower electric bills in the future though.
