I just finished watching this video and looks like Peter agrees with my previous posts on this forum regarding Russian gold ruble exchange. The whole thing is shaping like rape of Russia 2.0, This time West is after Russian gold and looks like they going to get it. Good riddance Mr. Putin this time the whole mess is on you.

People do not seem to understand that the ruble is NOT pegged to gold & I agree, Putin’s last hurrah. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get vindictive enough to do something catastrophic.

I found this stuff too the other day and thought of Edward Bernays who supposedly said he would of used the word propaganda in Public Relations, but the Nazis had given it a bad reputation.

@neru Yes but Zeihan left Statfor and works solo. I’d love CAF to talk to him about transnational entities (various hands of Mr Global) whereas Zeihan focuses on national entities.

Yes solo he can make more money. His website pretty much says it all, especially the self promotion video at bottom. Geez how blatantly obvious. A consultant earns his keep by convincing his audience he’s an expert influencer.

There’s NOTHING WRONG with promoting ones knowledge, everyone does it; Fitts, Farrell, everyone. Nobody gets free rent. For some strange reason, people who promote themselves, a different view, or, do not address certain aspects are many times frowned upon on this site; yet others that do the same are revered.
Having been to Russia, specifically working Sakhalin Island Project for XOM, I can tell you that what Zeihan discusses is an everyday topic of conversation among Russians and others.
I’d love to hear an interview with CAF & Zeihan as well.

If Mitt Romney blesses his circuit riding can’t be all bad…I’d say much of his demand and promotion is to fill those little check boxes in the corporate world’s employee performance reviews. You know, “What have you done this year to help develop your direct support staff?”
Bonus payouts depend on such actions, for both attendees and sponsors.
It’s okay if you like Mitt, Bill. It’s allowed.
