Yes, curious, Ellie, this coupling (although we do enjoy gospel music in their own unique settings). For this particular cathedral, we might have expected a pairing with Baroque or Renaissance sacred music…, and I wonder if there will be, also to inaugurate the organ and bells…
Do you know if the clip you shared may have been part of a larger show, that may have featured artists from around the world, each performing in their unique musical genres, as a kind of “global” celebration?
