November 22,1963 Three deaths in twenty-four hours: Huxley, Lewis, Kennedy

Did not know all three died that day…nice tribute to C. S. Lewis.

That was a good article. I remember Lewis’ and Huxley’s deaths being briefly mentioned in the news reports that Friday amid all the attention on Kennedy’s assasssination. In the retrospective of age, I think, of the three deaths that day, Lewis’ was the most significant, followed by Kennedy, and then Huxley, largely because that is the degree of influence they have had on me respectively.
